Vampire Hunter Drama Part 3 is part two, and there's a link in there to part one.

Anyway, the arch rival of Sean Manchester, the guy who has been annoying me since I was a teenager and the subject of the last two posts on the subject has emailed me as of last night. This guy has a criminal record a mile long, from digging up corpses and violating them on down.

But at least he's more eloquent in his madness than Machester. here's David Farrant's email to me.

Dear Alex Lucard
I was most intrigued by all your comments here about the so-called Highgate Vampire; not least about myself being a 'vampire hunter'! It would appear that you arrive at most of your conclusions about the Highgate Case and myself from sensational accounts you have gleaned from the internet the problem is however that almost invariably, most of this inaccurate sensationalism as been posted up by Mr Sean Manchester himself (Please note he is NOT a genuing bishop) and if you check back on these accounts you will see that I have only been forced to correct unfounded public allegations made by Mr Manchester himself - albeit frequently hiding behind his usual aliases.

It is not my intention to argue against all the points you have recently made on the insidepulse website, as I appreciate you, like anybody else are entitled to personal opinions (however wrong or misguided these have proved to be in your particular case).

I will just say one thing however, to set the record straight for you - ... I am NOT a 'vampire hunter', in reality I am just a psychic investigator and I do not even accept the existence of 'blood sucking vampires'. Mr Manchester apparently does (as he has publically stated in his self-published book The Highgate Vampire), but that is really his problem! In passing, I can conclude by saying that my non-acceptance of Mr Manchester's ridiculous public claims he makes about 'vampires', has been the main reason for his campaign of hatred against members of The British Psychic and Occult Society and myself.

Yours Sincerely
David Farrant
President BPOS.

NB: In the event that you might be interested my main website can be found at also could I refer you to Occult Forums International Vampire Thread, Off Topic Occult. The link is from which Mr Manchester has just been publically banned (within the last 3 or 4 days or so.

SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP! Sigh. My email to him

Ummm...Dave? That column you read of mine was me printing the whack job hilarious emails Manchester sent me. Re-read the column. Those are his words, not mine with me making fun of him at the end.

It was in reference to the column I wrote back in Jan '05 ( where I recanted the entire Highgate vampire saga.

I know Manchester very well. And by that I mean, I know him by reputation very well, as he's been the butt of American folklorists and parapsychologists for as long as I can remember. Norrine Dresser, Paul barber, Carol Page. All of us snicker quite profusely at the whole "Highgate Vampire" incident.

I'll tell you what I told Manchester: Stop acting like children. Both of you. This happened 30 years ago. My god, both of you are old enough to be at retirement age soon and you're carrying on like schoolchildren about an event maybe 5% of the world remembers and only a fraction thereof even cares that it occured.

All your sniping between the two of you does makes you both look foolish and foppish. Like attention whores deserpately clinging to some sort of public limelight when one of you just needs to start completely ignoring the other. I don't care if he starts it, or is just really good at getting your goat, because the end result is STILL the two of you bickering of the world wide web. Please stop.

The madness of King Sean

He also took his cross and stake to Robin Hood's Grave in West Yorkshire looking for a vampire. He wrote about this is his book the Vampire Hunters Handbook if you dont believe me. He also said he had a vision of Princess Diana when she died and claimed the Holy Ghost descended on his head when he became a priest--in a holy shimmering light. For all his claims to be a famous vampire hunter we have been unable to get him to name the hundreds of vampires he has slain in his post of "professional" vampire hunter. These are either delusions or lies. If they a re the truth then, folks--we are in the presence of a saint and should be singing his praises ! Saint or sinner, madman or Munchausons? However, some of us have had some rather unsaintly things said about us, so I know where I am casting my vote!

David Farrant, the man conducting a hate campain against the bishop, enlisted the help of Barbara Green and she gladly obliged. This created an immediate schism with Barbara Green. It was compounded by the production of her self-published Secrets of the Grave booklet where abusive material about the bishop appears. The spurious claim in the past by its author that some of her booklet's content was not her decision only serves to further expose her deceit. If not her decision, then whose was it to decide what her own booklet contained? It was published by her and her alone? She could have quite easily decided that the grotesque cartoons of Bishop Manchester provided by another Farrant apologist were inappropriate. Though I suspect they were exactly what Barbara Green wanted for her booklet. The privately taken photograph of Bishop Manchester in Highgate Cemetery supplied by Rob Brautigam is not an issue of itself. It is the caption beneath the picture of the bishop that causes offence, as Barbara Green has been told on many occasions. Yet still she ignores this fact.

However, why include in her booklet a picture of Bishop Manchester at all? She did not include pictures of people she regarded far more important. For example, no pictures of John Pope "de Locksley" or Rob Brautigam etc are in evidence, nor their mutual friend Farrant who is now the so-called patron of her "society". So why Bishop Manchester?

Barbara Green met the bishop by pure chance just twice and at the same charity venue in South Hertfordshire on both occasions. First in May 1987, and the last time in May 1988. At that time, he agreed to lend his name to charity raising ideas she put forward in connection with her Yorkshire Robin Hood Society. She used his name on her letter headed notepaper to this end, but when it became apparent that no funds raised by Barbara Green were being donated to any charitable institution, Bishop Manchester distanced himself from her so-called "history society" whose membership dwindled and disappeared during the same period. None of her original members (who had all left by the time Barbara Green shifted her loyalty to the man waging a hate campaign against the bishop) ever returned.

Correspondence with Bishop Manchester had become non-existent by the early 1990s. It was in that decade, of course, that Barbara Green became acquainted with Farrant, the man who is so antipathetic toward Bishop Manchester that it literally occupies every moment of every day of his existence; the same man she would accept as the "patron" of her Yorkshire Robin Hood Society in February 2004.

The draft of her booklet Secrets of the Grave was produced in 1998, a copy of which she forwarded to the bishop in May of that year. The name of the bishop's arch-enemy appeared in her acknowledgements. Bishop Manchester, on the other hand, found himself ridiculed, misrepresented and parodied within its pages. Not surprisingly, he made his displeasure known to Barbara Green who was quite unapologetic for what she had done.

Barbara Green introduced false, malicious and extremely libellous propaganda (originating with Farrant) to others, and this poisonous propaganda against the bishop, his wife, family and friends still continues to this day.

Barbara Green is someone to avoid like the plague as others have found to their cost, eg Lady Margarete Armytage, Christiaan Hohenzollern, David Hepworth, Graham Kirkby and many more.

This is what David Hepworth had to say to her on another forum:

"Barbara, once more there is maliciousness in your posting on Bossy Bishops - I`ve asked politely for you to stop these vendettas - I`ll put it more bluntly - kill the crap or else I will do nothing except obstruct you in every way possible."

And what follows provides evidence of Barbara Green's hysterical and monomaniacal pursuit of an intended victim once she has her fangs in them:

haha, fiddlesticks to you--you couldnt even think of your own title. How about this then :

The Sean dickipoggy Manchester Code

A twisted tale of a dotty young man who thought he saw a vampire, He put on his skin tight breaks, ate some nourishing broth and went and stuck a stake through its heart. Alas, a fair maiden had already been bitten by the nasty vampire and turned into a Giant Spider that went BOOOO!!!!.He then went up to Robin Hoods Grave looking for another vampire but after standing by a tree holding his candleabra for three hours he packed up and came home. After all this excitement, the dashing youth, who HAD NOW GOT RATHER FAT AND used to be in some very dickipoggy groups with long pointy hats, decided he fancied being a bishop so he bought himself a pair of PINK curtains and a tea pot cosy for his head and set up a church, but no one can finD out where it is or when thEre are any services. He amuses himself by writing claptrap on the Internet to someone he fell out with over 30 years ago about a non existant vampire, and generally making an infernal nuisance of himself to all and sundry.

The End

(I wish)

This same old copy and paste cobblers about Barbara Green is appearing almost daily on the internet. If this isn't a hate campaign I don't know what is.

There is no such thing as a real "Vampire", only some sad old bastard trying to protect his income by making up childish stories that would fail a GCSE English exam. STAND UP AND BE COUNTED MR. MANCHESTER.
